What is Infusion?
Fluid Infusion is a collection of resources designed to improve the user experience of community source web applications.
Infusion includes
- a Component Library - a small but growing collection of rich, reusable, accessible user interface components that can be used across web applications. These components have been designed by a cross-disciplinary team and thoroughly tested for usability and accessibility. By incorporating Fluid components into your web application's user interface, you can make your application easier to use by more people.
- a User Experience Toolkit - resources, tools, and documentation to help make user interface design and implementation easier. The toolkit includes personas and scenarios for common use cases within higher education, user interface design patterns, testing protocols, and accessibility guidelines intended to simplify the design process.
- Components:
- Reorderer
- Lightbox
- Layout Customizer
- Multi-File Uploader (beta)
- Documentation and Tutorials on how to use the components
- Markup examples
- Test files
- User Interface Design Patterns
- Checklists and protocols for doing User Experience walkthroughs and Accessibility reviews
- User Testing guidelines
- Results of user testing and other evaluations
